Meet Dan Parsloe, underwater hockey player for Team GB

Does your university have an underwater hockey club? It may not be the biggest society on campus, but underwater hockey is a globally popular sport that’s taking universities by storm.

Recently picked for Team GB’s Men’s Under 23 Team, Warwick engineering student Dan Parsloe will be travelling to Hobart, Australia in July to compete at the Underwater Hockey World Championships.

I asked Dan for his thoughts on underwater hockey and what it’s like to train for Team GB.

Holmes for Rent, Edinburgh Fringe

At the Edinburgh Fringe- that great festival into which all the actors and comedians of the world are irresistibly drained- there are more musicals than you could see in a week. Perhaps more surprisingly, there are a great many shows about Sherlock Holmes. Musical Theatre Warwick’s Holmes For Rent, an adaptation of Christian Blex’s German musical Sherlock H., is perhaps the only production that is both.
